Compact Power for Any System

The Ecko is a versatile strobe designed for the travelling underwater photographer. It’s compact enough for point-and-shoot systems yet powerful enough to pair with mirrorless setups for stunning results. Use a single strobe for macro, or dual strobes for full creative flexibility in all shooting conditions.

Advanced TTL Integration

Equipped with Ikelite’s latest RC TTL technology, the Ecko automatically adjusts flash output for accurate exposure across changing conditions. TTL is ideal for photographing fast-moving subjects, where real-time automatic adjustments outperform manual settings.

TTL exposure also enables ultra-fine power control, faster recycle times, extended battery life, and a lower minimum flash output than manual modes. For creative control, TTL exposure compensation can be adjusted directly from your camera while shooting in Manual mode.

Currently compatible with OM System, Olympus, and Panasonic cameras featuring RC (Wireless) flash modes, and the Ikelite TT5 TTL Transmitter for Canon. TTL support for Sony and Nikon systems is coming soon.

Reliable AA Battery Power

AA batteries offer the flexibility to shoot in remote locations where charging may be difficult. The Ecko performs best with high-quality rechargeable Eneloop cells and remains functional with widely available alkaline AAs.

The strobe features an independently sealed battery compartment with a fixed o-ring in the door—no lubrication required. Just ensure the sealing surface is clean, close the lid, and you’re ready to dive.

TTL Compatibility

The Ecko supports TTL exposure via fibre optic triggering with compatible cameras and TTL transmitters. Manual fibre optic triggering is supported for all other camera systems.
