The Ikelite 200FP/F Underwater Housing delivers the ultimate point-and-shoot underwater experience for the Sony Alpha a6700, now with a built-in fibre optic transmitter for manual strobe control. Designed with convenience and reliability in mind, this housing comes fully equipped with a dual handle tray, trigger extensions, vacuum system, and spare O-ring.

Built specifically for the Sony a6700 paired with the compact Sony E PZ 16–50mm F3.5–5.6 OSS lens, it supports drop-in camera loading and seamless operation of the lens' power zoom. The 67 mm threaded front port enables the use of external wet lenses. A 67 mm to bayonet adapter (sold separately) is recommended for use with larger wide-angle lenses.

Fibre Optic Flash Triggering

The integrated fibre optic transmitter connects via the camera’s hotshoe and converts flash signals to LED pulses compatible with most major fibre optic strobe brands. Note that strobes must be used in manual mode—TTL is not supported with this system.

Camera & Lens Compatibility

This housing is compatible exclusively with the Sony Alpha a6700 paired with the Sony E PZ 16–50mm F3.5–5.6 OSS lens. It does not support other camera models or accessories such as battery grips, eyepieces, or LCD covers.

Construction & Design

Built from Ikelite’s high-strength ABS-PC blend, the housing provides robust underwater protection while keeping weight to a minimum. The light-coloured shell reflects sunlight to reduce internal heat, ideal for shooting in tropical environments. Ergonomic control placement and aluminium hardware ensure reliable operation and longevity.
