The Nikon ZR 6K Cinema Camera delivers exceptional performance for underwater cinematography, featuring a 24.5-megapixel partially stacked CMOS sensor, R3D (NE) RAW video codec, advanced 7.5EV in-body image stabilisation, and up to 6K/60p video recording. Compact, powerful, and globally acclaimed, it has quickly become a favourite among professional filmmakers.

The 200DL Underwater Housing provides a full-featured and reliable waterproof solution for the Nikon ZR Cinema Camera. Designed for scuba, snorkelling, surf, and pool use, it offers full creative control—including use of the rear joystick and control dials—within a durable ABS-PC construction that is lighter than aluminium while remaining exceptionally strong.

The housing supports a broad range of Nikon Z-mount and F-mount lenses (via FTZ adapter) using Ikelite DL optical-grade acrylic domes and glass flat ports. Most popular zoom lenses are supported through compatible zoom gears, operated by a large ergonomic soft-touch control on the left side of the housing.

A compatible DL lens port is required for waterproof operation and sold separately. Select the correct port components based on the lens being used.

Always Be Shooting

A first-of-its-kind USB-C Charging & Data Transfer Bulkhead allows quick top-ups between dives without removing the camera from the housing. Divers can safely connect a power bank onboard the boat, reducing unnecessary openings and maintaining system integrity.

Endless Expandability

The large 4" 3.07M-dot rear LCD display performs beautifully underwater. An optional LCD hood (sold separately) attaches to integrated rear rails to reduce glare in bright conditions. Integrated M16 and M24 accessory ports enable connection of external monitors or other third-party accessories. Flash triggering options can also be added through a compatible flash bulkhead, hotshoe, or fibre-optic system.

The Ultimate Assurance

Ikelite’s signature clear housing body allows easy visual confirmation of seals and camera placement. The integrated vacuum leak detection system provides added confidence before every dive. Each housing is built and tested in the USA, pressure-tested to 60 metres (200 ft), and inspected with a real camera before shipment.

Pre-Dive Checks

Ikelite’s signature open-groove rear O-ring design keeps the O-ring in a natural, reliable position and allows easy visual confirmation of a proper seal once the housing is closed.

We recommend adding the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2" Valve (#47012) to pull a vacuum and check for leaks before diving.

Construction

The specially formulated ABS-PC housing is extremely durable while remaining lighter than aluminium. Its light colour helps minimise internal heat when shooting in bright conditions.

Lens Support

Ikelite DL lens ports are lightweight yet robust, capable of handling surf and challenging conditions. A wide range of lenses is supported, and many popular zoom and focus rings can be controlled using simple gearing systems. Gear selection depends on your lens choice.

Lens ports and gears are sold separately — refer to the DLM port chart for compatibility.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Use the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi to transfer images without removing the camera from the housing. Wi-Fi is usable only above water and within range of the connected device.

Compatibility

This housing does not accommodate add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or similar accessories. Differences in camera size and control layout prevent other camera models from being used or adapted.
