The Deluxe 200DLM Underwater Housing for the Canon EOS R8 comes pre-configured with all the extras we recommend: dual tray with dual handles, trigger extensions, vacuum valve system, and a set of spare O-rings. This robust, feature-rich housing is ideal for scuba, snorkelling, surf, or pool use, and performs reliably in both recreational and professional underwater photography settings.

The housing is constructed from a custom ABS-PC blend, offering a lighter weight than aluminium while providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance.

DLM Lens Port Required

A compatible DLM (Dry Lock Micro) lens port is required for waterproof operation (sold separately). Be sure to select the correct port components based on your lens.

Construction

Crafted from a specially formulated ABS-PC blend, the housing is lighter than aluminium yet exceptionally durable. The white colour helps keep the camera cool during extended use in sunny and warm environments.

Pre-Dive Checks & Leak Detection

The open-groove design allows you to see the rear O-ring seal, ensuring it is properly positioned and ready to form a waterproof seal once the housing is closed. The included vacuum pump allows for easy leak testing before diving.

Lens Support

Ikelite lens ports are lightweight yet sturdy, capable of withstanding rough conditions in the water. The housing supports a wide variety of lenses, with zoom and focus gears available for popular zoom lenses and select focus rings. Lens ports and zoom gears are sold separately.

Wi-Fi Transfer

Use the built-in Wi-Fi of the Canon EOS R8 to wirelessly transfer photos to a nearby device while above water—ideal for reviewing shots between dives.

Compatibility

This housing is designed specifically for the Canon EOS R8 and is not compatible with other camera models. Add-on grips, battery grips, and eyepieces are not supported.
