The correct use and understanding of strobes and light can open up endless possibilities for an underwater photographer. Water absorbs light, leaving ambient light sources dim. Using strobes and lights to add fill or to illuminate a scene will bring back the true colours of your scene at any depth, eliminating the blue monotone in your photos.
