Hugyfot underwater Housing for the Canon 5D MkII Digital Camera
Hugyfot waterproof underwater housings for the Canon EOS 5D MKII are above all functional, they will suit from the beginner to professional. This waterproof housing is best suited to all underwater photography but if you would like to only use this housing for shallow water work like surfing or pool photography, you will be best off selecting the Sport Version.
After all, a waterproof housing is merely a protective cover and should under no circumstances prevent a swift operation of the camera. A good housing is to be considered as a second skin around the camera, allowing the user to control the camera without any concession. Furthermore, the patented Hugyfot grip allows a single hand control while under water.
The well-considered and stubborn design however, is the most commonly known trademark of Hugyfot. The sexy curves of the Hugyfot housings not only provide compact and ergonomic housings, they also add to the charisma and the typical contours that distinguish them from all the others.
The HFC-5D MkII housing is machined out of a solid block AlMgSi1 high strength aluminum. Each housing is sanded by hand, sandblasted and finished with a hard anodisation and Teflon coating. The housing is pressure rated to 100m.
All Canon 5D MkII camera controls can be accessed (on/off, shutter release, shutter speed, aperture, program dial, main dial, push buttons, lens release).
Standard housing configuration:
- Hugyfot bayonet catch for port mounting
- Hugyfot countersunk bolt closing mechanism
- gearwheel drive for manual zoom or focus control
- standard viewfinder
