Four ring diameters are designed for use with many different underwater cameras and housings in addition to all Epoque underwater products. The 46mm and 52mm ring is threaded for use with Olympus housings, the 55mm size is for most Epoque and other brand underwater housings, and the 67mm lens is for use specifically with Ikelite and the Epoque EHS-1000 HD Video Housing. The rings are interchangeable and can be purchased individually in all sizes at nominal prices. This allows one lens to be mounted on more than one camera or housing with different threaded ring sizes. The multi-lens adapter ring can be mounted on most underwater cameras and housings with a tripod socket, and positioned so that the DCL-20 wide angle lens is directly in front of the camera's primary lens. This allows cameras and housings that do not have a threaded port to use the underwater wide angle lens.
