The Mangrove WP-100 is a high resolution underwater super wide angle port for capturing dynamic wide angle images. Having been designed by Fathom Imaging, it brings distortion-free imaging to Mangrove housings. For big subjects and great "close focus wide-angle" performance, the super-wide-angle port WP-100 increases the camcorder's field of view while maintaining edge-to-edge sharpness and no colour aberration. The WP-100 provides a wonderful 108° field-of-view at full wide while still maintaining full zoom-through focus capability.

The ultra wide angle lens will enhance your videos - whether the subject matter is a broad view of a general area, or your aim is to get close to larger subjects. This lens system allows for the full zoom through capability of your camera. Distortion is virtually minimal with spectacular image quality attained.

Overview: 
The WP-100 covers a range of up to 108º underwater as well as on land. Extremely close focusing is possible, and it assures brilliant colour rendition. All in all, the lens produce high definition wide angle and macro images that are sharp and clear from edge to edge. It can be used on land as well as underwater.
The WP-100 is nitrogen purged/vacuum sealed in a dust-free environment, ensuring that no foreign matter or condensation will spoil your image. The lens has maximum light transmission which comes from the construction. The lens is made entirely of corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy and high grade optical glass elements which are coated with a proprietary High Efficiency Broad Band Anti-Reflective coating. As this port is backward compatible with many out-of production Mangrove housings, current users can upgrade to one of the finest ports available for underwater imaging. To do so, the original 67mm port should be returned to the factory to be replaced by the new port ring with bayonet mount. Contact us for more information.
