Mangrove FP-M56 Flat Port

Flat port for Mangrove and Ikelite housings with M56 threaded port ring, included W-FPM56 wrench that allows easily mounting the lens. Due to refraction flat ports reduce the angle-of-coverage of a lens and at the same time enlarge the image. This makes the flat port ideal when using standard, macro or zoom lenses to shoot small subjects.
The FP-M56 optical glass flat port is the simplest port for Mangrove underwater camera housings. The focal length of your camcorder lens will be increased by 1:33, causing subjects to appear 25% closer. This port isn't suitable for wide- angle photography of large subjects. It is instead useful for close up work and for general fish photography. It can be used with any wet close up lens like the Inon UCL-165. Minimum focusing distance and zoom range depend upon your camcorder. This port can be used in air and underwater.
